JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Director is part of an important team that creates and executes communications with our clients. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role promotes brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital and social media channels, all with the goal of enhancing the image of the travel agency online Trip Support. This role helps create direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns and activated channels to boost consumer awareness and preferences, increase market share, and build a broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role focuses on the Trip Support brand, providing the Book Now, Pay Later sales format, as well as special products. As a member of the Marketing and Communication team, this role is fully connected to the company’s resources and product; Marketing and communications managers liaise and form close partnerships with all company departments and marketing teams to ensure that all local, social and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the organization’s sales efforts. This role also allows you to do a bit of everything from balancing traditional and digital marketing and e-commerce activities to contributing to the public relations (PR) activities of our travel agency. Success is measured by how well they help drive the property’s sales and revenue strategy, social media engagement and also by how effectively the resources around them are leveraged to create marketing campaigns. and really convincing communication.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and experience

Obligatory:

3 year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 4 years experience in sales, marketing, digital or related professional field; experience in hotel marketing or digital advertising preferred
OR

5-year bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, business or related major; 2 years of sales, marketing, digital or related professional experience; Experience in hotel marketing or digital advertising agency preferred.
AND

5 years of e-commerce and marketing experience for an online travel agency.
WORK ACTIVITIES Travel Support Marketing and Advertising

Executes the annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the CEO,
Partners with operations, various departments such as ticketing, vacations, hotel, flight + hotel vacations and things to do.
Acts as a liaison between the marketing department and managers on the creative and media plans of tactical advertising campaigns, particularly for the sales form of the company.
Performs email marketing and displays advertising.
Maintains frequent and active engagement with social media manager and SEO managers to verify alignment, handoff and two-way communication on status, performance review, opportunities and issues related to programs and initiatives in line.
Checks all adverts for Google, Facebook and Instagram Trip Support advertising
Social media content management

Facilitates engagement on social media and updating content on local digital channels (e.g. Trip Support brand, products, website, …)
Engages in proactive online reputation management by showing relevant customer comments (positive or negative) on social media channels and responds accordingly.
Public relations and visual asset management

Supports the implementation of impactful marketing strategy and activities to generate quality media coverage through media engagement, in alignment with communication objectives.
Check that press clippings and other online, print and social media mention reports are completed monthly for property distribution.
Surfaces and Vets PR Leads from the continent PR Leader on what are the best media to promote the website.
Support the coordination of photography for advertising, collateral and PR purposes between travel assistance, SEO team and social media management.
Manage photo shoots for seasonal or festive promotions in partnership with the marketing team.
Other responsibilities

Assists and manages the development, coordination and execution of all communications activities with a strong emphasis on website promotions and campaigns.
Help with the publication of Trip Support newsletters.
Supports the communication tasks and functions deemed necessary.
Works with the IT team to ensure that travel assistance websites and related websites are updated regularly.
Works with the director of all departments in the company to create a marketing plan aligned with the website’s sales and revenue strategy.
Provides marketing training and leadership and acts as a marketing expert for sales leaders and managers, and revenue managers.
Keeps abreast of the competition and its warranty, advertising and marketing efforts and the ever-changing digital and marketing trends.
