Flutterwave Increases Staff Size by 200, Announces New Director of People and Culture

SAN FRANCISCO, August 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Flutterwave, africa payments technology leader, completed the recruitment process for its first graduate trainee program, hiring 200 interns, increasing its employee base by 38%. The paid program aims to train young Nigerians by upskilling them with technical and soft skills, exposing them to the company’s solutions and products, and giving them work experience in a global organization. The program is the new head of people and culture’s first project after joining Flutterwave.

Mansi Babyloni, the new director of people and culture, was previously global head of people strategy and special projects for Flutterwave in 2020, before leaving for an opportunity at PwC’s People and Org. practice in London, United Kingdom. She joins Flutterwave as CPO and will focus on investing in people, culture and processes to drive the growth of the organization.

Flutterwave opened the application portal on July, 1stst 2022 to enable young graduates to Nigeria to apply for different positions within the company. The gate closed on July 15the with 11,000 applications and 200 candidates entering the program after an extensive recruitment process. Candidates have received their offers 5 Augustwith their 2 week onboarding to begin immediately.

The program aims to support young talents in Nigeria which in turn will support Flutterwave’s growing need for talent as it strives to achieve its growth and expansion goals.
